Oriental Languages & Civilisations Unit

On 15 January 2004, the Ile-de-France region appointed SEMAPA as agent for project ownership in respect of the building which houses the Oriental Languages & Civilisations Unit

This programme covers the teaching premises of the INALCO (National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilisations) and the BULAC (Languages and Civilisations University Library); the entire unit covers around 30,000 sq.m. Following a call for bids, the architecture-design firm chosen for the building is Atelier Lion & Associés. Work on the site began in July 2008 and the building is due for delivery at end 2011.
